I’m not actually painting the valve covers its just a test to see what color I want to paint the block.

This is a good idea. I have some painting and staining work to do which for me has to wait until spring when the garage is warm enough for paint to dry.

I spent the last week painting the interior of my mom’s house. By day two, I was so overwhelmed by the fumes that I had to shut down the heater, partition the house in two with plastic, and open up the freshly painted half so it could air out overnight. This, despite the twenty-something degree temps.
Painting indoors can suck when the weather isn’t nice.

Centerbolt. Vortec is a subset of the centerbolt engines.
Yes it’s pedantic but you can’t assume that every centerbolt engine is a Vortec. Do you want a TBI 305? Because that’s how you can get a TBI 305.
